Glencoe Winter News
Glencoe Country Club finished the 2009 season on a positive note. GCC had a very busy year
with all the different types of events; weddings, class reunions, golf outings and tournaments. The
different Board of Directors committees met throughout the year and effectively mapped out a
strategy that worked great so without “reinventing the wheel”, GCC is looking forward to having
another outstanding year.
Glencoe Country Clubs marketing committee is pursuing former members into giving us a try
again and will be contacting them in the near future. Spring is the time for member recruitment so
if you were a former member, current member or a future member, please contact us for a
membership packet to answer your questions, give me a call at the club or email me.
Glencoe Country Club will be starting our Friday night meals once again with the first meal being
on January 29. Meals will be one every other Friday night until the golf season starts up again.
During the golf season, GCC does have Friday Night Couples events for members and non-
members being just as welcome to participate in the fun night.
Glencoe Country Club is booking events already for the 2010 season, be sure to check our posted
calendar for the different events. One night to keep in mind is if there are any ladies interested in
participating in our Thursday Night Ladies League, you do not have to be a member of GCC to
belong to this league, please call to find out more information about this fun night.
